Sender Comments: Sent 3 Star Wars Soundtrack CD inserts, silver sharpie, fan letter, and SASE with return postage.
He didn't sign the CD inserts, instead he sent me 4 7x5 glossy studio photos, all signed. On two of them he added the notes of the famous melody from Close Encounters of the Third Kind, the other one he added a couple notes from Star Wars Title. The fourth was just signed with his name.
Also added was a slip of paper explaining why my personal items weren't signed. On the bottom John Williams wrote a personal note, "Keep up the important work you do!" (I am a high school teacher). This really made my year!!!!!!! Thanks Wattographs and thanks Maestro Williams!!!!!

Sender Comments: Sent request in September. I think the reason it took so long is the item was sent to the BSO, c/o John Williams. He is retired, and only does occasional concerts. I don't think the mail is forwarded to him. I think he picks it up when he is directing at the BSO. He did an Xmas concert, and I received the autograph three weeks after his concert.
