Posted by Gary X • Wednesday, February 01, 2012

PLEASE NOTE: The store is currently going thru last-minute testing and will be up later today. When you see the "Store" link in the navigation tab at top, the signing will officially be live and ready for orders!

Colin SkeapingWattographs launches into 2012 with a brand new website and autograph signing with Star Wars stuntman Colin Skeaping!

Colin worked in all three original Star Wars films and most notably as Mark Hamill’s stunt double in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Check out our store for signing details and get the first look at the re-launch of Recollections, which features interviews with the many cast, crew and artists that made (and continue to make) Star Wars possible. You can read Colin's Recollections here.

Signing ends February 29, 2012 at 11:59:59 EDT. Personal items need to arrive with Wattographs by that date in order to be included.

AND, WE HAVE A WINNER!

Posted by Gary X • Wednesday, February 01, 2012

So, when I launched the Colin Skeaping Recollections piece to coincide with the announcement of him being our February signer, I thought it would be fun to put up an unannounced contest and see if we'd have any takers. On Colin's Recollections page, near the end, I put the graphic you see on the right.

James Lynch of New York was the first to take the time to see what that block of text says. He correctly figured out the following:

The first person to crack this code and send an email to gary@wattographs.com with the subject line of
I CRACKED THE CODE
Will receive a free autographed 8x10 Colin Skeaping photo from our signing. Please include your complete mailing address in the body of the email.

Congratulations, James on your win!

Wattographs will be putting up fun stuff like this at random times to see who's reading the site beyond just the basics.

Ian Abercrombie 1934-2012

Posted by Gary X • Friday, January 27, 2012

Ian Abercrombie as Senator PalpatineWe’re sad to report that Ian Abercrombie, know to Star Wars fans as the voice of Chancellor Palpatine and Darth Sidious on The Clone Wars passed away at age 78.

Abercrombie was also known well to television viewers as Elaine’s boss, Mr. Pitt on Seinfeld who demands perfect socks and eats a Snickers bar with a fork and a knife.

Ian was known to his fellow Clone Wars actors as a "delightful man." Ian also voiced Palpatine in the original Clone Wars Micro Series and was a good occasional signer of his fan mail. Thanks for being a wonderful part of Star Wars!

PLEASE NOTE: Registration/Log-In not currently functioning

Posted by Gary X • Wednesday, January 25, 2012

We're still working on our registration and login for everyone to be able to access all of the site's areas.

This is the top priority right now and once we get it up and running, we'll post a message here.

Welcome to the NEW Wattographs website!

Posted by Gary X • Thursday, January 19, 2012

ESB ProgramWelcome to the brand new Wattographs website. We've been working for a while to redesign the site and give it user functionality to make things as easy as possible for our site visitors.

This new site will now feature a single log-in that can be used across the entire website. This means one log-in to access the store...the forums...and—when it returns—our world-famous Star Wars Celebrity Autograph Address Database. The new database will feature some added functionality to make it "your" database. We'll have more information on that as we are able to make it available.

The new site features will be added in the coming days and weeks as we finish each particular section of the site. So, keep an eye on the menu and this page for new additions!
